No cookies are set for analytics or advertising, no tracking and no web analytics (such as Google Analytics) are used, and there is no comment function and no advertising. Personal data is processed only to the technically necessary extent described below.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc., based in the USA. When the pages are accessed, the host processes technically necessary access data in server log files — in particular the IP address, the date and time of access, the file requested, the volume of data transferred, and browser and operating-system information. This processing is required for the secure and stable operation of the website.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and technically error-free provision of the website). As the provider is based in the USA, data may be transferred there; this transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on appropriate safeguards.
